Our Mission – Together in Jesus Christ we are freed by grace to live faithfully, witness boldly, and serve joyfully. Loving God by ACCEPTING others, SHARING God’s grace, and GROWING in Christ.

Alianza Poder is a network of sister organizations – including FHDC, Mano a Mano, PCUN, and CAPACES. AP’s community organizing, advocacy, and leadership development strategies have resulted in a “growing seat at the table,” and multiple local/statewide policy victories. Building on these strategies to create community wealth will be a key part of our future.

Mano a Mano was established in 1988. It is the oldest Latino community-based organization in Salem-Keizer. Their vision is that the area of Marion and Polk Counties be a community of justice, where families are Strong, Safe, and Nurturing and where ALL children Thrive. Their mission is to Strengthen Families by promoting Hope and Resiliency, and reduce Stress among the people they serve — primarily, Low Income, Latino/a/x, and Immigrants. They value a thriving community, family, and the culture and experience of each person. This is the reason they support the GWOC, as it will help support families, so they can thrive in Woodburn and the surrounding areas.

PCUN (Pineros Y Campesinos Unidos del Noroeste)
Our mission is to empower farmworkers and working Latinx families in Oregon by building community, increasing Latinx representation in elections, and policy advocacy on both the national and state levels.
PCUN values the ability of workers to take action against exploitation and all of its effects and continues to build an agenda that strengthens workers’ rights by creating safer workplaces, advocating for fair wages, and pushing for enough economic security to care for our families. We also value dignity, and respect for all workers, and the “Sí se puede ” spirit of Dolores Huerta, and Cesar Chavez. PCUN was founded by farmworkers, and today that legacy continues.
Our community needs a hub that brings together social and economic opportunity resources for all our citizens. PCUN champions GWOC and provides our voice for strategic guidance and project decision-making.
